About Us

Welcome

We are ordinary people on a journey following Jesus. Our strength is in our relationships. Our congregation is a safe place to admit need and seek guidance. Some may wonder about the name Mennonite. We see ourselves as Christians who believe it is both practical and life-giving to follow Jesus’ life and teaching in our current day. We center ourselves on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. As we have been forgiven by God, we are called to forgive others. Such forgiveness enables a new community to develop based on God’s love rather than human thought. We seek to be transformed as we practice what Jesus taught. The faith community helps to shape, nurture and guide us in the journey of following Jesus. Please feel free to join us for any of our activities. If there is any way I can be of any service, please feel free to contact me.

Peace, Pastor Randy

Our Staff

Randy HeacockWhen Lead Pastor, Randy Heacock, first felt called to pastoral ministry, he never dreamed it could be this much fun. He feels blessed to lead a congregation that is open to the adventure of following Jesus.  Randy graduated from Messiah College and received his MDiv from Moravian Theological Seminary.  He and his wife Nancy enjoy relating to their two adult daughters.  Projects around the house are great stress reducers, and though he follows professional sports, he looks forward to playing disc golf every chance he gets.

Sandy LandesHaving been called by God several years ago to “help people pray,” Pastor of Prayer and Pastoral Care, Sandy Landes, encourages and equips a growing team of prayer ushers and  intercessors whose desire it is to see the kingdom of God come forth in our church, our community, the region and the world.  Sandy’s family brings great joy to her life, and includes her husband Steve, four children and a daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.  She enjoys relaxing by caring for her garden and connecting with friends.
